Finding the reason in your life begins with asking yourself the hard questions.
Health In Progress
Over the last few years, I’ve had time to think about my direction, why I choose certain courses and where I expect to end up. Somewhere along the way, I seem to find myself somewhere else, completely unplanned — and it seems to me, that though I find a lot of it stressful, I find myself able to recoil. In that recoil, I seem to ask myself this one important question,
“Whose life am I living?”
A question that I invite you to ponder on, finding the reasons that tell you that you should keep going — not matter the situation, no matter how far you’ve come, no matter how far you seem to have to go.
We seem to set a timeline for ourselves as if life were robotic and time were infinite for us. But it is not. We have a finite time on this Earth and the most valuable thing we could do for ourselves is to take the moments, even the hard ones, and enjoy them.
See where you are today
Build from those moments
Reflect on the moments that cause you conflict
Strive for grace
Have a little more optimism
What is the worst that could happen?
The idea fails?
The money runs out?
The dream appears more distant?
But which race are you running?
And then comes the boldness of health — asking you to show up, even in unexpected moments.
Your blood pressure is elevated.
You blood sugar seems out of control.
The recommendations become clear, yet your life feels chaotic.
Perhaps it is not, and maybe it is easy for you. It could be a family member, a friend, a colleague, trekking those same waters.
You have been told how and when you should do something, living life on autopilot, yet there may be space for what you actually want. And this is where the philosophy, “Health Begins In The Mind” comes in.
Multiple aspects of health come into play as we live our life.
This is where the reason comes in. The why. The who. The when.

Weekly Brain Snack
What are you really good? And how can you use it in your health?
“I need to exercise because the world tells me to.”
Versus
“I want to improve my physical capacity because being able to explore the world matters to me.”
Don’t only ask what you need to change. Ask why that change matters to the life you want to live.
Weekly Poetry
there is a story worth being told,
the one that keeps you up at 2 am,
the voice that nags,
the moments your stomach tingle
the idea that just won’t go away…
that story is you — the life you’re living versus the life you want…
and everything in between.

“What does this mean to me?”
“Why am I doing it?”
“How does it serve me tomorrow?”
The idea is to help you connect the dot between recommendations and the life that you are living.
Closing Thought💭
You are not taking care of your health as a performance.
You are not taking care of your health as a generic reason to be healthy.
You are not improving your health simply because “they” told you to.
You are the reason behind the health you would like to see; you are doing it for you. Everything else contributes to the greater you. Your kids matter. Your job matters. Your career matters. The community matters.
However, you are the centerpiece of your health.
Do it for you. If you cannot consider anyone else, let us make it for you.
