Change the Question. Change the Story.
Health In Progress
No one tells you how hard it is to remain focused on your health.
No one tells you the effort it takes to stay healthy.
Rarely anyone speaks about the weighted days of effort and when discipline waxes and wanes.
No one speaks on the lack of motivation, the struggle when everything is life is falling apart.
No one tells you about the difficult transition from what you knew to where you want to be.
Social media has broadcasted over and over the body types, and the quick fixes and go-figure it out- behavior.
But what sits silently brewing is the weight of leaving what you knew behind for what truly works for you.
Perhaps steamed broccoli and blueberries do not work for you.
Maybe dark chocolate gets you sick.
Maybe the carrot sticks are less nauseating.
And the steamed pumpkins seats better.
You really cannot tell what works for you by looking at the highlight reel of someone else’s plan without implementation.
It is good to try things, this is how we understand how our body works.
But that takes daily effort, daily monitoring; it gets boring.
It becomes automatic.
You hear so many times that —
you should exercise
you should eat greens
you should hydrate
you should attend the appointments.
But routine takes time. And in a heavily chaotic world, this can be dangerous.
Generalized care gives insight, sharpens foresight.
Individualized care gives direct viewership of behind-the-scenes. It is looking at what is actually happening to you when generalizations are provided.

Weekly Brain Snack
It takes determination to get to your destination.
There is struggle. There is pain. There is grief. There is hardship. There are moments where you will feel like you are suffocating. There are moments that will require facing yourself in the mirror. There will be moments of self-criticism. There will be moments where the change seems impossible.
Health is not simply about skinny, thick, fat, or obese.
There are skinny people who have been plagued with chronic illnesses and lifestyle-related illnesses that a fat person may never face in their happy life.

A - Apply

I - Intend

N - Negotiate
Negotiate the days to treat yourself. And please do not sell yourself the story, “What if I die tomorrow!”
What if you do not die tomorrow? Then what?
Over the next 7 days, apply the BRAIN Technique.
See what works for you. Learn about your body. Which foods make you bloated. Which foods make you sick. Which ones cause acid reflux and move from there.
Health & Habit Insight
Build Habits That Fit Your Actual Life.
If you work a 9 to 5, you cannot compare your health to someone who works a 12-hour shift.
If your life has less demands, then put more effort into the space.
If your life has more demands, then put effort into the space.
The only difference: The Actual Space = Your Life.

Writing A Story Reflection 🖊️
Lists of Expectations vs. Healthier Life
Take a moment to examine your relationship with health improvement.
Think about the routines you have been trying to establish.
The goals you have repeatedly postponed.
The recommendations you have struggled to implement.
Here is your weekly reflection statement:
I have been expecting myself to:
but my current circumstances require me to consider:
Do not abandon your responsibility saying that you are more self-aware.
Weekly Challenge
There is no challenge this week.
Sit with yourself.
Pat yourself on the back for all the challenges you have accomplished.
Remain focused.
Keep the drive.
Start building if you have not. Continue building from where you stopped. Finish building if you are getting to the target.
Closing Thought💭
A healthier life still needs fun.
You need interesting meals.
You need fun meal prep.
You need healthy exercise routines that do not burn you out.
You need patience that is forgiven.
The Goal is not to be perfect at health because we are human and we will get sick. Instead the goal is to implement the simple things that can grant us the most happiness while remaining healthy and young within.
A sustainable health plan accounts for the person who has to live with it. Therefore, if you do not like your healthcare plan you need two questions:
Why do I not like the plan?
If the plan would change, would I be happier and healthier?
Change the question. Change your story.
